Ellen Knauth, Milford, Illinois is joining The Wendt Group as the Senior Manager of Producer Services and Education. In her role, Knauth will work to elevate customer experiences for TWG consignors.
“After working with the team in different capacities for years, I am very excited to join The Wendt Group and work with an amazing group of talented individuals. I look forward to communicating with producers to ensure they have all of the tools they need to market their product in a way that best suits the needs of their operation! I hope to build relationships with customers and provide them with education and resources that can help achieve their goals. My passion is in the livestock industry and I am fortunate to have been able to have a career surrounding that passion,” said Knauth.
Most recently Knauth served as the VP of Operations for The National Swine Registry (NSR). Knauth’s experience in the industry, as a producer herself and as a current customer of TWG, lends to her ability to relate and produce content that will help our breeders and sellers execute marketing strategies to the best of their ability.
“What an exciting opportunity for TWG to add Ellen to our team. Ellen is an infectious leader who, in previous roles, has exhibited the level of talent and commitment it takes to move our industry forward. TWG sincerely appreciates the opportunity to help consignors market their livestock and grow their businesses. We know Ellen’s perspective and vision will elevate our mission of excellence, innovation and customer experience we want for our producers. We look forward to the value she will bring to our consignors in this new position”, said Kevin Wendt.
As part of The Wendt Group, Knauth will assist consignors by developing and implementing strategies that support sellers with business decisions that align with their goals and the TWG products and services. This will include educational communication through in-person events, webinars, Facebook live, podcasts, web articles, e-newsletters, and key partnerships.
Ellen loves to spend time in the barn with her husband, Kyle Knauth, and two sons Kolton, 6, and Knox, 3. When time allows, they enjoy cheering on the Illini and the Cubs. Recently Kolton has taken a real liking to bowling, so they spend as much time as they can at the local bowling alley!
